Admin Assistant – Edinburgh Salary: £11 - £13k (neg on exp) + benefits
Are you looking for your next challenging role? Our client, a top 250 FTSE Company has an exciting opportunity for an Admin Assistant
The role is like no other, as an Admin Assistant you will be responsible for:
The provision of full, confidential, administration and secretarial support service for the Regional Director with additional support to all his direct reports, as required.
Key Tasks:
1. Maintaining the Regional Directors diary and “To do list” advising of outstanding actions to include reviewing, monitoring and alerting them of any action points arising from minutes of meetings, e-mails and any other form of communication, ensuring conflicting priorities are accommodated 2. Assisting the Regional Director with the creation and completion of new templates, miscellaneous reports and presentations. 3. Arranging and booking all travel and accommodation requirements as well as ensuring papers are prepared for meetings. 4. Dealing with a wide range of administrative tasks including, the collation and publishing of weekly schedules, updating databases, taking minutes at senior management meetings, completion of mileage and expense returns, holiday planners, etc 5. Circulating Management Information packs 6. Dealing with Ad Hoc tasks.
The successful candidate must have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You must be extremely well organised, numerate and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail. In addition you must be good at managing customer relationships, team working, and be able to make good decisions. Good communication skills are also essential.
